Each Saturday of every month, several church members go to Britthaven Nursing Home in town and conduct a church service for the residents.  We’ve been going there for a few years now and have just tried to be a help and blessing to these folks.  Many have been greatly involved in their churches in the past and are now unable to attend regular services like they would like to.  So, we decided we’d bring church to them.  During every service we sing some good old hymns and then we have a Bible message brought by one of the church members.  We’ve seen several of the residents get saved since we have been coming there.  No matter what age you are God will save anyone!  It sure is a blessing to come to the nursing home and try to be a blessing to these dear folks.  And just about every time that we go, though we seek to be a blessing to them, they end up being a blessing to us.
